Foundational Pillar #3: Hydration

“Water is like life’s matrix and mother and medium. There is no life without water.”

-Albert Szent-Gyorgyi

The third foundational pillar of health and wellbeing is hydration.

Our bodies are literally 60% water. We need water to live. The average human is chronically dehydrated.
I want you to think of water like machine oil for your body. Water helps regulate electrolytes within the body’s cells. Water helps promote digestion. Water helps the body filter out wastes.
WATER IS NECESSARY.
But how much water do I need to drink daily?

Half your body weight in ounces.

So, if you weigh 100lbs you need to drink 50oz of water daily.

BUT…

Your daily water intake can include: coffee (the regular kind, not the sugary frozen frappuccino’s), tea, and seltzer water.

“So suck it up and drink up buttercup!”
